Kosuke Tsumura is a fashion designer who proposes a concept of fashion that does not stop at “clothing”. His own brand, FINAL HOME, takes on the idea of clothing design as “apparel for survival”.

“Excitement in providing materials that will become fashion, turning surprising materials into fashion, and fashion that is rooted in the community.” – Tsumura researches the target community, gathering fasteners and cords, Washi and Sensu folding fans, and more. The next process involves creating the perspective of “wearing”, in which an exhibition and fashion show is held in a local neighborhood. As a professional mixing in with the community, models will be chosen from the area and he will build a fashion show together with residents. This event will bring forth an extraordinary festival atmosphere to communities.

Current Activities

[Production]　Unpacking and distribution of donated materials (August 4, 2020)
We unpacked goods, scrap materials, discontinued products and other items that had been donated by 14 companies located in the vicinity of the Tokyo Biennale. These materials were distributed to the creators in preparation for the start of production on wearable works.
