YYANESEN・Nippori

The YANESEN area (stands for YAnaka, NEzu and SENdagi) has many shrines, temples, and historical buildings. You can enjoy a mixture of new and nostalgic strolling around popular sites as Yanaka Ginza, Yanaka Cemetery, Nezu Shrine, as well as small galleries, cafés, rice cracker shops and tsukudani shops (food cooked in soy sauce). Going down south from Nippori station, it is possible to walk to Ueno through Uguisudani, a unique deep town.
