In this project, Hiroyuki Oki will use work-in-progress footage taken during his participation in “Trans Arts Tokyo 2012” and “Trans Arts Tokyo 2013” as a “seed”, organically mixing the images with work-in-progress footage shot/edited before and during “Tokyo Biennale 2020/2021” while screening and continally updating the results during the exhibition. The project is based on a doctrine that has been named “Time/Performance Doctrine 2011→2021”, but which has yet to be effectively verbalized. It is a project concerning “matter”, in which the exploration/activation of space, people, time, words, and images both in their minute details and in their entirety “arise while blending together”.
